"The month of May is Asian Heritage Month. This month is an
opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the rich history of Asian
Canadians and their contributions to our country. Since its inception
in Toronto in 1993, cities across Canada including Montreal, Ottawa and
Vancouver have been holding annual festivities to recognize Asian
Heritage Month.
